AWLUC Co-Founder & Director Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar Pays Courtesy Visit to the Premier of Sarawak

On 22nd April, Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar, Co-Founder &  Director of Asian Women's Leadership Project, Malaysia Berhad, paid a courtesy visit to the Premier of Sarawak, The Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg. She was accompanied by Mr Joseph Lim, Chief Executive Officer of SCOPE, and Professor (Dr) Sushila Chang, Vice Chancellor of Asian Women's Leadership University College (AWLUC).

The Premier received the delegation warmly and graciously. In a congenial and engaging dialogue, he shared his progressive vision for Sarawak, highlighting a range of initiatives dedicated to empowering women across the state. His commitment to inclusive development and forward-thinking policies underscored the importance of fostering leadership and educational opportunities for women.

Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari also expressed a keen interest in learning more about AWLUC — its mission, core values, and the programmes it offers to nurture the next generation of women leaders in Asia. The discussion marked a meaningful step in fostering collaboration towards shared goals in education and gender empowerment.
