Ms. Carma Elliot CMG OBE FRSA is an experienced leader with over 35 years of service in the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the British Council. She has recently completed five years in international education, focusing on peace and sustainability, and now holds roles across the private, public, and charity sectors.

Carma is known for her collaborative leadership style, strong strategic planning skills, and ability to build high-performing, cross-cultural teams. She has lived and worked across three continents and is passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as women’s economic empowerment.

She has a strong focus on ethical financial management, stakeholder engagement, and community wellbeing.
