Dato’ Dr Rashidah Shuib is a distinguished academic, gender scholar, and leader with decades of experience in higher education, women’s health, and gender mainstreaming at both national and international levels. She previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Asian Women’s Leadership University College (AWLUC).

Dato’ Dr Rashidah previously served as Director of the Women’s Development Research Centre (KANITA), Universiti Sains Malaysia, and has been actively involved with organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Commonwealth of Learning, and Harpswell ASEAN Women’s Leadership Programme. Her work focuses on gender and health, leadership, women’s rights, and social equity. In recognition of her contributions, she was conferred Profesor Emerita by USM and awarded the Darjah Dato’ Panglima Sirajuddin Jamalullail (DPSJ).
